ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!!!! Our instructor, Adrian, was amazing from start to finish! He made the entire Open Water 20 certification process feel comfortable, safe, and incredibly fun!! Adrian was patient, knowledgeable, and always encouraging. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made sure we felt confident before moving on to the next skill. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and loves what he does!Thanks to him, we not only got certified but also had an unforgettable experience!!! If you’re thinking about getting your Open Water certification - this is the instructor you want!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!!

Had an amazing experience with La Bombona Diving. Myself and my partner did the try dive day. As someone who was nervous going into it, our instructor Martin was extremely patient with me. Encouraged me when I wanted to give up, taught us everything over and over, with a smile on his face. The company as a whole was brilliant, very informative and friendly. Great time!

A Dream Realized. It is hard to put into words my thankfulness to LBD for helping me to achieve one of my lifetime goals/dreams.
I did a TRY DIVE with instructor Sofia. Sofia guided me through the land, boat, and dive instruction. When I fell back into the water after donning my scuba gear, there was extreme excitement and as well as a terror. BUT Sofia was there with her calm voice and mannerisms coaching me. The first time I totally submerged, was overwhelming but I just kept looking at Sophia and following her calm hand signals. It was magic. If I started to feel panicked, I visually checked in with Sofia and all was well again. We did two dives. I felt strong, powerful, safe, and deeply humbled by the beauty of what lies below. I have no words Sofia for the gift of realizing a long term dream, and for realizing that age does not define me.
I'm SO very thankful that Sofia introduced me to Jose, LBD Photo. Jose is a professional underwater photographer and he was also by my side taking photos of my dive as well as the beautiful underwater landscape. Friends and family that have seen the photos have said they are so vivid and was like being there with me. If opportunity presents itself, I highly recommend that you let Jose capture your LBD experience. Thank you Jose.
Finally l, I would like to acknowledge the LBD, boat crew. They are the glue behind the scene, making everything run smooth and safe.
Remember to respect our oceans Don't contribute to the trash epidemic in our oceans, that is even finding its way into paradise. There is vast life and beauty beneath the water that we need to protect.

We were extremely satisfied with the Open Water 20 course. Joe was an excellent instructor—professional, patient and very clear in his explanations, which made the whole experience feel safe and enjoyable. Even though English isn’t our native language, we understood everything well and could complete all parts of the course without any issues. A few days later, we also did a fun dive, and everything was just as outstanding. We highly recommend it! 🥰

The entire bombona team made us feel right at home from the get go.
Completed both open water 20 & advanced open water 30 with Joy as the instructor.
Amazing guy who ensured we never felt out of place diving for the first time.
Dives were extremely fun all thanks to the supremely positive and professional nature of Joy (man does live up to his name xD)
The boat staff was super helpful and lively as well. Not a single moment we felt even slightly unsafe at all.
The entire bombona team made us feel right at home from the get go.

Bombona are the best diving company. We did the open water 20 course over 3.5 days. It’s great value for money - £220 per person. Our instructor John was amazing. He had such a great sense of humour and explained everything so well. Was always calm and helped with the nerves. At the end of each day he would have a drink with us at the bar next door going over the day and plans/tips for the next dive. This really added to the experience for us as made it really special. Would highly recommend Bombona and especially John. Thank you!

I am not a strong swimmer and have struggled in the past with snorkelling. I went on the course to see if it could help me. Well it did that and so much more.
Firstly, I met some amazing people the instructors and staff were so welcoming and friendly, and my instructor Adri he was alright too. Adri was fantastic- very understanding and explained everything clearly and slowly.
There are so many choices for diving on Koh Tao, but I definitely think I chose one of the best.
If you are thinking of trying diving as a try dive, open water or more La Bombona is definitely the place to go
