Frequently asked questions

What are the prerequisites to become an Instructor?

You must be a certified Divemaster with 100 logged hours underwater (or 200 dives), and current First Aid and Oxygen certifications.

You need to hold Deep and Nitrox specialty certifications. (We can provide this training if you need it)

How long does it take to get certified?

This training course is 14 days, with a 2 day exam upon completion.

How much are the agency fees that need to be paid after I pass?

There are no extra costs to be paid. Unlike other dive agencies, RAID include all fees in the cost of the program. You also have no yearly renewal fees as long as you certify 5 students per year.
